Stripping overburden layers is one of the activities that greatly influences mining activities. The Adhikara Cipta Mulia Limited Company is currently planning to carry out mining in a new pit, namely Pit 4, with an overburden stripping production target of 80</em><em>.</em><em>000 tons/month. To maximize these activities, it is necessary to plan the cost of stripping the overburden to determine the costs during the mining process in order to expedite the operation of mining activities and minimize the costs incurred to achieve the desired production targets. This research aims to determine the number of digging and hauling equipment and to determine the total cost of overburden stripping. Bosowa Mining is one of the national private companies operating in the field of nickel commodity mining industry with an area of permission of mining enterprise (IUP) 1,500 Ha. Currently the company plans to open a new mining land at Pit A Block ITB to maintain production and will be scheduled in an effort to meet the production target when several other blocks have reached the mineout category. The nickel ore production target at the Pit A ITB Block is 70,000 tons/month with the criterion of value cut off grade Ni &gt;1.40% and the company's sales standard is 1.60% Ni. This requires good technical planning and scheduling to reach the desired production target. The mining design is based on pit optimisation using Micromine 2021.5 software with the Lerchs-Grossmann algorithm. Based on the optimized pit shell results, the optimum pit shells were obtained at the sixth pit shell. The mining plan is based on the optimal pit shels with mining geometry is 6 meters bench high, 2 meters berm width, 60° slope angle and 9 meters ramp width. The results of the geotechnical analysis meet the safety factor standard that corresponds to the value of the mining slope SF according to KepMen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM-RI/2018 for single slope, inter-ramp and overall slope conditions. The mining pit limit scheme at Pit A ITB Block produced a total of nickel ore reserves of 639,199 tonnes (1.62% Ni) and overburden/waste of 985,625 tonnes with a stripping ratio of 1.71 : 1. The research method used is field observation with a type of quantitative research, namely research involving theory, design, hypotheses and determining the subject. This research was conducted in Pit B3 which has an area of ​​17 hectares.The purpose of this study is to determine the estimated reserves at the Pit B3 location, what is the volume and tonnage of laterite nickel deposits and what is the difference between laterite nickel reserves using the Inverse Distance Weight method and the kriging method. The data needed in this study are data assay, collar, geology and survey using Surpac 6.3 Software. From the data obtained namely estimated reserves using the Inverse Distance Weight method amounted to 318.903,75 tons and volume 193.275 m3, with levels of 1,5%-1,7% or low grade ore 69.135 tons, levels of 1,7%-1,9% or medium grade ore 68.975 tons, levels of &gt;1,9% or hight grade ore 180.840 tons while the results of estimated reserves using the method Kriging of 323.977,5 tons and volume of 196.350 m3, with levels of 1,5%-1,7% or low grade ore of 82.293,75 tons, levels of 1,7%-1,9% or medium grade ore 765.18,75 tons and levels of &gt;1,9% or hight grade ore 164.340,05 tons. The research focus centers on Pit 3, spanning 13 hectares, requiring a pushback mining design based on monthly production targets. This study spanned 8 months and included monthly pushbacks with varying tonnages of ore, stripping ratios, and nickel grades. For instance, in the first month, the pushback yielded 183,216.47 tons of ore with a stripping ratio of 1:1.1 and a nickel grade of 1.82%. This pattern continued until the eighth month, marking an 8-month lifespan for Pit 3.
